Yonkers Woman Charged with Grand Larceny After Allegedly Stealing $4,700 Worth of Merchandise9/23/2020
Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 29-year-old Yonkers, NY resident, who is charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a Class "D" Felony.
On May 14, 2020, Yorktown Police received a report of a past larceny at BJ's Wholesale Club located at 3303 Crompond Rd. PO Nicholson was assigned to investigate. Following the officer's investigation, it is alleged that the defendant stole assorted merchandise on four separate occasions with a total value of $4,788.31. A warrant for the defendant’s arrest was subsequently issued out of the Yorktown Justice Court and signed by Judge Lagonia on July 8, 2020 for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree. On September 22, 2020 at 4:00 pm, the defendant voluntarily responded to Yorktown Police Headquarters to turn herself in on the above-mentioned arrest warrant. PO Nicholson placed the defendant under arrest and processed her on the above charge. The defendant was then arraigned before Judge Lagonia and released on her own recognizance. The defendant is due to return to the Yorktown Justice Court on November 10, 2020 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
