Yorktown Police report the arrest of a thirty-two year old Yorktown man who is charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation and Menacing in the 2nd Degree, both Class “A” Misdemeanors.
On April 23, 2018 at about 7:21 am, Yorktown Police responded to a 911 call from a Stony Street residence reporting an altercation in progress. Subsequent to the officers’ investigation at the scene, it is alleged that the defendant choked a male victim and allegedly threatened to kill him while displaying a large kitchen knife. The defendant was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was later arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Gary Raniolo. The defendant was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on May 3, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
