Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 37 year old Yorktown NY resident who is charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, a Class “E” Felony, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, Attempted Assault 3rd Degree, a Class “B” Misdemeanor, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, and Harassment 2nd Degree, a Violation.
According to police, on June 27, 2020 at approximately 7:29 PM, PO Doherty responded to the Yorktown Police Department lobby for a walk in report of a domestic incident that occurred at a residence in Yorktown. After an investigation was completed it is alleged that during a verbal argument the defendant threatened the victim and damage her cell phone. It is further alleged that the defendant attempted to injure the victim while the victim was holding a child and it is also alleged that the defendant kicked the victim’s car causing damage to the bumper. PO Doherty located the defendant at his residence and placed him under arrest. He was then transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Following processing the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Raniolo who served him with a Temporary Order of Protection on behalf of the victim and the child. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on August 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
