Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Yorktown Heights man who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
On December 6, 2017, at approximately 8:11 pm, Yorktown Police responded to a residence on Hitching Post Lane on a report of a two people who had overdosed on drugs. Following an investigation at the scene, it is alleged that one of the overdose victims was at the residence in violation of a duly served order of protection issued by the Yorktown Justice Court. The defendant was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to Hudson Valley Hospital Center for treatment. After being released from the hospital, P.O. Fortunato transported the defendant to police headquarters for processing. After arrest processing, the defendant was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Gary Raniolo, who remanded the defendant to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. The defendant is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on December 14, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
