Yorktown Man Arrested After Exposing Himself to a Woman & Child in the Triangle Shopping Center7/29/2018
Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 59 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class "A" Misdemeanor, Exposure of a Person, a Violation, Speed in Zone, Inadequate Headlights and Fail to Maintain Lane, all Traffic Violations.
According to Police, on July 28, 2018 at approximately 7:09 pm, a report was received that a male exposed himself to a woman and child walking in a Triangle Shopping Center parking lot near CVS. PO Palladino responded and conducted an investigation, which revealed that the defendant, while parked in the parking lot, stood outside of his vehicle facing the victims with his shorts down to his knees, exposing the private/intimate parts of his body in a lewd manner. The defendant fled the scene before the Officer Palladino arrived and several other officers began looking for the suspect. A few minutes later, PO Beyrer located the defendant's vehicle on Route 6, and observed several traffic violations. Officers conducted an investigation and the defendant was placed under arrest and was transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia. The defendant was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on August 7, 2018 at 6:00 pm for arraignment.
