Yorktown Police report the arrest of a a 46 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, a class "E" Felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation.
On November 28, 2018 at about 4:00 pm, Sgt. Kolkmann, PO Doherty, PO Caprio and PO Campion were dispatched for an altercation in progress at the Gulf Gas Station located at 2001 commerce Street. Following an investigation, it was determined that a 46 year old Yorktown man intentionally damaged a vehicle by throwing a rock at it causing damage in the amount of $750. The defendant was placed under arrest at the scene and found to be in possession of marijuana as well. He was transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed at the Yorktown Police Department and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia. An Order of Protection was issued protecting the victims and the defendant was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail. The defendant is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on December 4, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
