Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 42 year old male from Yorktown, NY who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, driving with a BAC of .18 or greater, both Misdemeanors, as well as Failing to Obey a Traffic Control Device, a traffic infraction.
On July 25, 2019 at approximately 10:55 AM, P.O. Premuto and P.O.Chaparro conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on Gomer Street for a vehicle that had allegedly failed to obey a traffic control device. Investigation at the scene identified the male operator as the defendant by his New York drivers license. Further investigation also alleges that the defendant was Driving While Intoxicated. The defendant was arrested at the scene for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. Once at Yorktown Police Department, it is further alleged that the defendant was Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .18 or greater. The defendant was processed at police headquarters on the above charges and was released on his own recognizance to a family member. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on August 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM to answer the charges. Comments are closed.
