Yorktown Man Arrested, Charged with Making Graffiti

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 76 year old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with Making Graffiti, a Class A Misdemeanor and Possession of Graffiti Instruments, a Class B Misdemeanor.
 
Police report that on July 24, 2019 at approximately 10:23 PM they received a report of the defendant making Graffiti on Curry Street in the area of Route 6.  PO Ellsworth responded and observed the defendant allegedly holding a spray can while spray painting the pavement of Curry Street.
 
The defendant was processed on the above charges, issued an appearance ticket and later released on his own recognizance. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on September 3, 2019 at 06:00 pm.
