Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 26 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On December 26, 2018 at about 9:40 am, the Yorktown Police Department responded to a domestic incident at a Yorktown residence. Investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant and victim became involved in a verbal argument. During the argument, it is alleged that the defendant damaged property within the residence. The defendant fled the scene prior to the police arriving, but was located by P.O. Mullen, who conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle the defendant was operating and subsequently placed him under arrested for Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. The defendant was transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed at the Yorktown Police Department and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Raniolo. An Order of Protection was issued by the Honorable Judge Raniolo protecting the victim. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on February 7, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
