Yorktown Police report the arrest of a fifty-nine year old Yorktown Heights man, who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and DWI Blood Alcohol Content of .08% or More, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, and Fail to Maintain Lane, a Traffic Infraction.
On March 7, 2019 at about 2:04 pm, Yorktown Police responded to Granite Springs Rd. in the area of Quaker Church Rd. for a single vehicle traffic accident. The responding officers located the driver of the vehicle and conducted an investigation at the scene. Investigation revealed that the driver was driving while intoxicated and had a blood alcohol content of .08% or more. It is also alleged that driver failed to maintain his travel lane just prior to the traffic accident. The driver was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. He was released on his own recognizance to a responsible party and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on March 21, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
