Yorktown Man Arrested on Multiple Felonies Following Probation Search of Residence

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 59 year-old, Yorktown, NY resident, who is  charged  with  Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree (Narcotic Drug 4 oz or more), a Class A-II Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree (Stimulant 1.0 grams or more), a Class A-II Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree (With Intent to Sell), a Class D Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon (Previously Convicted of a Crime), a Class D Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
 
On March 14, 2024 at approximately 6:32 AM, Westchester County Probation contacted Yorktown Police and advised that they had performed a search of the defendant's residence and located narcotics and weapons within the residence. PO Vuoso responded to the residence and placed the defendant under arrest. It is alleged that the defendant was in possession of 138 grams of cocaine, 12.1 grams of Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine pills, 11 Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone Bitartrate pills, and metal knuckles, with intent to sell the previously mentioned controlled substances. The defendant was transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for arrest processing.
 
The defendant was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Cohen-Pierson and was remanded to the Westchester County Department of Corrections. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on March 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
