Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 60 year old Yorktown Heights, NY resident, who is charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated BAC .18% or Higher and Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, as well as Improper Turn Without Signal and Failed to Keep Right, both Traffic Infractions.
On July 4, 2020 at approximately 1:51 PM P.O. Battista responded to Crompond Road on the report of a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner. P.O. Battista located the vehicle being operated on Hunterbrook Road and it’s alleged the vehicle failed to keep right and made an improper turn without signaling. P.O. Battista initiated a traffic stop and identified the defendant as the operator of the vehicle. After completing an investigation at the scene, it is alleged that the defendant was driving while intoxicated. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Upon further investigation at the Yorktown Police Department, it is alleged that the defendant was operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .18% or more. Following processing on the charges, the defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets for the above listed charges and was released on his own recognizance to a responsible third party. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on July 23, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
