Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 24-year-old Yorktown NY resident, who is charged with Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Class “A” Misdemeanors.
On July 26, 2023 at 9:21 PM, Yorktown Police received a report that a 16-year-old was touched inappropriately. Officer Lizarzaburu met with the victim and her mother and initiated an investigation. At the completion of the investigation police allege the defendant, who was working as the gas station attendant at the Xtra Fuel gas station, located at 1917 Commerce St, grabbed the victim’s buttocks several times without her permission while she was attempting to purchase gas. On July 28, 2023 at 8:42 PM, the defendant arrived at the Yorktown Police Department and was placed under arrest by Officer Lizarzaburu. After arrest processing was completed, the defendant was issued an appearance ticket for the above charges and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on August 17, 2023 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
