Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 42 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Aggravated Criminal Contempt, a Class “D” Felony, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, a Class “E” Felony, and Assault 3rd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On 10/02/2019 at approximately 8:17 pm, Yorktown Police responded to a local residence to investigate a report of a domestic dispute. PO Hannigan responded and conducted an investigation with the victim. It is alleged that between 09/30/2019 through 10/02/2019, the defendant violated a Yorktown Justice Court Temporary Order of Protection by damaging the victim's property, striking the victim in the arms and legs causing pain and bruising, as well as threatening to kill the victim. The defendant voluntarily surrendered himself at Yorktown Police Headquarters on 10/03/2019 at 6:25 pm, where he was arrested and processed on the above charges. The defendant was then arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. The defendant is scheduled to return to the Yorktown Justice Court on 10/17/19 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
