Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 51 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, a Class “E” Felony, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, and Harassment, a Violation.
On February 23, 2021 at about 8:05 pm, Officer Palladino and several other officers were dispatched to a residence in Yorktown for a report of a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim and the defendant. At the completion of an investigation at the scene, it is alleged that the defendant punched a hole in the wall of the victim’s home, threatened to kill the victim and the defendant was under the influence of alcohol in the presence of the victim, which was in violation of a duly sworn order of protection. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. The defendant was arraigned on the above charges by the Honorable Gary Raniolo, who set bail was set in the amount $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond, which the defendant was unable to post. The defendant was subsequently remanded to the Westchester County Jail and is due to appear before the Yorktown Justice Court on February 25, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Comments are closed.
