Yorktown Police report that the following roadways are CLOSED (unless noted) due to downed trees & wires.  While the high winds have subsided, we urge residents to exercise caution when traveling and leave extra travel time.  As a reminder, the Yorktown Police Department does NOT have any information regarding electrical restoration times.  Restoration estimates should be obtained through your respective electrical provider.

• Hickory St. CLOSED in the area of 3087
• Locksley Rd. CLOSED from Rt. 132 to Springhurst St.
• Brookside Ave. CLOSED near Greenwood St.
• Elizabeth Rd. CLOSED in the middle but accessible from both Rt. 202 and Ridge St.
• Boone Rd. CLOSED from Hanover St. to Rt. 100
• Hanover St. CLOSED between Croton Heights Rd. and Butler Ct.
• Lark Dr. at Pheasant Rd. - Tree on low hanging wire. Roadway passable for local traffic.
