Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 21 year old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a Class “A” Misdemeanor and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, an unclassified misdemeanor.
On July 8, 2019 at about 6:00 PM, Yorktown Police completed a domestic incident report that had occurred at a Yorktown residence. After completing an investigation, it is alleged that the defendant took a motor vehicle from a family member without that person’s permission. It’s further alleged that her privilege to do so was suspended for failing to answer a summons. While actively investigating the case, P.O. Premuto located the missing vehicle at a residence in Yorktown. P.O. Caprio and P.O. Premuto made contact with the defendant. The officers placed the defendant under arrest. The defendant was transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed at the Yorktown Police Department and arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Lagonia. The defendant was released on her own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on August 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
