Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 59 year old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree, a Class "D" Felony and Menacing in the 2nd Degree, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
According to Police, a call was received on January 6, 2018 at about 10:08 PM reporting a domestic incident at an address located in the Town of Yorktown. Sgt. Kolkmann, Officer Caprio, Officer Doherty and Officer Kaen responded to the residence to investigate. Upon arrival Officer Caprio completed an investigation and it is alleged that the defendant assaulted the victim by striking him with a closed fist, golf club and a metal guitar stand causing bruising and swelling on his face and body. It is further alleged that the defendant did menace the victim by placing him in fear of physical injury by holding a steak knife and then allegedly using the knife by poking his legs which caused bruising. The defendant was placed under arrest at the scene. She was processed on the above charges and was arraigned by Judge Lagonia where she was released on her own recognizance and a Temporary Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim. The defendant is due to appear in Yorktown Court on January 9, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Comments are closed.
