Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 22 year old White Plains, NY resident who is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or more, both unclassified misdemeanors and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor. He is additionally charged with moving from lane unsafely and uninspected motor vehicle both traffic infractions.
Police report that on December 15, 2019 at approximately 2:47 AM, Officers responded to the report of a property damage auto accident involving one vehicle. Officer Curtis located the vehicle and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. It was further alleged that the defendant did move from his lane unsafely, have an uninspected motor vehicle and possess a quantity of Amphetamine and Dextroamaphetamine, a controlled substance. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated his vehicle with a BAC of .18% or more. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released to a responsible third party. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on January 7, 2020 at 6:00pm Yorktown Police report the arrest 43 year old Lake Peekskill, NY resident who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Operating a Vehicle While Registration Suspended, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, as well as, Visibility Distorted/Broken Windshield, Unsafe Tire, Following Too Closely, and Uninspected Vehicle, all Traffic Infractions.
According to police on December 11, 2019 at about 11:56 AM Officer Gregorio was dispatched to a report of a two car property damage auto accident. Upon arrival Officer Gregorio conducted an investigation at the scene. During that investigation a DMV check of the registration of the defendant’s vehicle showed that it is currently suspended for five parking tickets in a 12 month period. At the conclusion of that investigation it is alleged that the defendant was following another vehicle too closely, the defendant’s vehicle was allegedly uninspected, had a broken windshield, an unsafe tire, and it is alleged that the defendant operated the vehicle while the vehicle’s registration was suspended. After an additional investigation was conducted on scene it is further alleged that the defendant was in possession of a quantity of Cocaine. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Following processing the defendant was issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets for the above charges and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on January 1, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 44 year old Yorktown, NY resident who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a Class “E” Felony.
On November 2, 2019 at about 10:01 PM, the Yorktown Police Department responded to a domestic incident at a Yorktown residence. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that the defendant, who was no longer on scene, allegedly possessed a firearm in his residence that he failed to register. Ultimately, after being contacted by police, the defendant voluntarily appeared at the Yorktown Police Department on December 10, 2019 at 6:58 PM and was placed under arrest. The defendant was processed at the Yorktown Police Department, issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on January 16, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 49 year old New York, NY resident who was arrested on an Arrest Warrant issued by Judge Lagonia for Burglary in the 3rd Degree.
According to Yorktown Police, on 07/10/2017, Yorktown Police responded to Dunkin Donuts located at 3399 Crompond Road for a past burglary. Yorktown Police conducted an investigation and it is alleged that Angel Aybar did unlawfully enter a Dunkin Donuts Office and steal $1,140.00. A warrant was applied for and issued by the Yorktown Justice Court on 07/14/2017 for his arrest. On 12/06/2019 Det. Sage and PO Gregorio responded to the Vernon C. Bain Center where the defendant was being held. He was placed under arrest by the Yorktown Police Department at 5:00 PM and transported back to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. On 12/06/2019 at approximately 6:50 PM the defendant was processed and arraigned by the Honorable Gary Raniolo. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on 12/10/2019 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 21 year old Amawalk, NY resident who is charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or more, both unclassified misdemeanors. He is additionally charged with no tail lamp, a traffic infraction.
Police report that on November 28, 2019 at approximately 1:48 AM, P.O. David observed a vehicle that allegedly had no tail lamp illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly driving while intoxicated. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. Upon arrival at headquarters, a further investigation revealed that the defendant allegedly operated his vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on his own recognizance to a responsible third party. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court on December 12, 2019 at 6:00 pm. |
