Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 31year old Mohegan Lake woman, who is charged with Burglary 1st Degree, a Class “B” Felony, Robbery 1st Degree, a Class “B” Felony, Assault 2nd Degree, a Class “D” Felony, and Fail to Use Designated Lane, a traffic infraction.
According to police, on November 1, 2020 at approximately 2:14 am, members of the Yorktown Police Department responded to a Yorktown residence on the report of an alleged assault that had just occurred. Following an investigation, it is alleged that the Defendant unlawfully entered the victim’s residence, forcibly stole property and caused physical injury to the victim. Initial attempts to locate the Defendant were unsuccessful, so an Arrest Warrant was applied for and issued by the Yorktown Justice Court. On December 7, 2020 at about 9:21 pm, Officer Battista was on patrol along East Main Street when he observed a vehicle fail to use the designated lane. A traffic stop was conducted and the Defendant was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Following further investigation at the scene, the Defendant was placed under arrest on the Arrest Warrant and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. After arrest processing was completed the Defendant was issued a traffic ticket for the above traffic charge and she was arraigned on the Arrest Warrant and underlying charges by the Honorable Gary Raniolo. A Temporary Order of Protection was issued and served on behalf of the victim. The Defendant was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond. The Defendant is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on December 15, 2020 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a sixty-two year old Yorktown, New York resident, who is charged with Menacing in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Violation.
On November 29, 2020, at about 12:09 pm, Yorktown Police responded to a residence to investigate a report of a domestic incident. PO Pagliuca was dispatched and conducted an investigation. Following an investigation, it’s alleged that the defendant did threaten the victim with a knife, causing the victim to be in fear of serious physical injury or death. It is also alleged that the defendant did push the victim to the ground. At 1:13 pm, PO Pagliuca placed the defendant under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed at Yorktown Police Headquarters and later arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Salvatore Lagonia. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on December 15, 2020, at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report issuing a summons to a 48 year old Garrison, NY, resident, who is charged with Dumping, a Town Code Violation.
On November 17, 2020, Yorktown Police received a report of construction debris in the roadway on Baldwin Road. P.O. Campion was assigned to investigate and responded. Upon arrival, P.O. Campion observed a pile of construction debris which was dumped on the side of the roadway. Following an investigation, the defendant was identified. It is alleged that the defendant did dump construction debris on the side of Baldwin Road. On November 18, 2020, the defendant responded to Baldwin Road and was issued an appearance ticket for the above charge. The defendant was processed on scene and released on his own recognizance. The defendant is due to return to the Yorktown Justice Court on December 3, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 17-year-old male from Cortlandt Manor NY, whose name is being withheld. The defendant is charged with Grand Larceny in the fourth degree, a class E Felony.
Police report that on October 29, 2020, at about 9:26 AM, they responded to a report of a larceny that occurred in the past from Dick’s Sporting Goods located at 650 Lee Boulevard. Investigation by police revealed that the defendant allegedly made 6 fraudulent returns while employed at Dicks’ Sporting Goods, depriving the store of a total of $1,057.22. The defendant was contacted and on November 10, 2020, he voluntarily responded to the Yorktown Police Department with his guardian. He was placed under arrest and processed on the above charge. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Felony Youth Part of the Westchester County Court on November 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM. |
