Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 26 year old Fort Montgomery man, who is charged with two counts of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Auto Accident and uninspected vehicle, both Traffic Infractions.
On March 20, 2018 at about 7:18 pm, Officer Hannigan responded to a leaving the scene auto accident on Route 6 at Strawberry Rd. Subsequent to the officer’s investigation at the scene, it is alleged that the defendant fled the scene of the accident and was driving while his driver’s license was suspended. On May 6, 2018 at about 4:45 pm, Officer Hannigan was on routine patrol in the area of Route 6 and Mountain Brook Rd, when he observed the defendant allegedly operating the same vehicle involved in the leaving the scene auto accident that occurred on March 20, 2018. Officer Hannigan initiated a vehicle and traffic stop and the driver was identified by his New State Driver’s license. Further investigation revealed that his NYS driving privileges were allegedly suspended. The vehicle’s Inspection sticker was allegedly expired as well. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. At Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charges and released on $200.00 cash bail. He is due to back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 07, 2018 at 6:00pm Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 19 year old Peekskill woman, who is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
On May 7, 2018 at approximately 6: 49 PM Yorktown Police received a call from Macy’s staff reporting an employee being detained for a larceny complaint. P.O. Campion was dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival an investigation revealed the defendant allegedly stole US currency totaling $245.00. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for Processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and was released on her own recognizance. The defendant is due back in Yorktown Court on June 7, 2018 at 06:00 PM Greenwich, CT Man Charged with Strangling, Assaulting Victim and Violating Order of Protection5/10/2018
Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 41 year old Greenwich, CT resident, who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 1ST Degree a class E Felony, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, a class A Misdemeanor, Attempted Assault 3RD, a class B Misdemeanor.
On May 05, 2018 at approximately 11:03 PM, Yorktown Police received a call of an assault that occurred at a Yorktown residence. Responding Officers arrived on scene and an investigation revealed that that the defendant allegedly strangled the victim and attempted to assault her and then fled the scene. Further investigation revealed that defendant allegedly violated a duly served Town of Yorktown Justice Court order of protection. On May 06, 2018 the defendant responded to Police Headquarters and turned himself in. He was arrested and processed on the above charges. The defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Lagonia who issued a Temporary Order of Protection in favor of the victim and set bail at $5000.00 cash which he could not post. The defendant was turned over to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections and is due back in Yorktown Court on May 10, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 36 year old Yorktown man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree a class A misdemeanor, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Fail to Obey a Traffic Control Device which are violations.
On May 5, 2018 at about 8:05 pm while on routine patrol and conducting traffic enforcement, P.O. Curtis observed a blue Subaru allegedly fail to obey a traffic control device. P.O. Curtis conducted a traffic stop of the Subaru on Baldwin Road. Investigation at scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly unlawfully possessing marijuana. It is also alleged that the defendant was found to be in criminal possession of a controlled substance, Cocaine. The defendant was arrested on the above charges. The defendant was transported to Yorktown Police Department where he was processed on the above charges. The defendant was released on $200.00 cash bail to a family member and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 7, 2018 at 6:00 pm for arraignment. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 59 year old White Plains man, who is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3RD degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
On May 04, 2018 at approximately 04:40 PM Sgt Rapisarda while on routine patrol on Route 6 observed a vehicle which fit the description of a possible stolen vehicle and asked that Headquarters confirm the plate. After confirming the plate the vehicle was stopped in the CVS parking lot located at 1775 E. Main Street. An investigation on scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly in possession of a vehicle reported stolen out of White Plains, NY and that the defendant was allegedly operating the vehicle with a suspended license. The defendant was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and was released on $500.00 cash bail. He is due back in Yorktown Court on May 17, 2018 at 6:00 pm. |
