Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 22 year old Brooklyn, NY resident who is charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree a class D Felony, Unlawful Possession of a Skimmer Device in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Failure to Keep to the Right and Expired Inspection, both Traffic Infractions.
On 05/29/2019 at approximately 9:49 PM, PO Hannigan while conducting routine patrol on Route 134 in the Town of Yorktown did observe a vehicle fail to keep to the right. PO Hannigan initiated a traffic stop and conducted an investigation. It is alleged that the defendant was found to be in possession of a skimmer device as well as a forged Pennsylvania Driver’s license and two forged credit cards. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed at the Yorktown Police Department on the above charges. On 05/30/2019 the Defendant was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Lagonia who set bail at $5,000 cash. The defendant posted bail and was released and is scheduled to return to the Yorktown Justice Court on 06/04/19 at 6:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 38 year old Jefferson Valley, NY resident who is charged with Petit Larceny and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Class “A” Misdemeanors.
Police report that on May 26, 2019 at approximately 1:00 PM, Sgt. Dillon and P.O. Chaparro responded to Macys for a female shoplifter in custody. An investigation at the scene revealed that the defendant allegedly stole assorted clothing valued at $239.62 from Macys while in the presence of her 2 year old daughter. She was arrested and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on her own recognizance. The defendant is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 27, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 30 year old Elmsford, NY resident who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Refusal to Take Breath Test and Cracked Windshield both Traffic Infractions.
On 05/30/2019 at approximately 7:50 PM, PO Hannigan, while on routine patrol, observed a disabled vehicle stopped on Route 118 in the Town of Yorktown. PO Fortunato responded to assist. An investigation on scene revealed that the defendant was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. It is also alleged that the defendant did refuse to submit to a breath test and did operate a motor vehicle with a cracked windshield. The defendant was transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters, charged with the above mentioned charges and subsequently released on her own recognizance, to a responsible party. She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on 06/13/19 at 6:00 pm. Yorktown Police report the arrest of 55 year old Yonkers, NY resident who is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Police report that, on May 24, 2019 at approximately 6:20 PM they received a report of a shoplifter fleeing the scene from Macy’s. Officer David responded and was able to locate the defendant a short distance away. The defendant was identified by Macy’s Loss Prevention and an investigation was completed. It is alleged that the defendant did leave Macy’s without paying for merchandise valued at $332.96. The defendant was arrested for Petit Larceny and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for arrest processing. The defendant was processed on the above charge and arraigned by the Honorable Judge Lagonia who set $1,000.00 cash bail. The defendant was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Westchester County Jail. He is due to appear before the Yorktown Justice Court on May 28, 2019 at 06:00 PM. Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 22 year old Valhalla, NY resident who is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Criminal Possession of Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Fail to keep right, a Traffic Infraction.
According to Police, on May 27, 2019 at approximately 9:40 PM, P.O. Hannigan was on routine patrol on Route 6 when he observed a vehicle allegedly fail to keep right and a traffic stop was initiated. An investigation was conducted at the scene by P.O. Hannigan, PO Campion and K9 Spar and it is alleged that the defendant was driving while his privilege to do so was suspended for failing to answer a summons and had an active Bench Warrant from Ossining PD for missing a scheduled court appearance. The defendant was also allegedly in possession of a quantity of Marijuana and cannabis oil. The defendant was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. At Headquarters the defendant was processed on the above charges and released to Ossining PD on $125.00 cash bail. The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice on June 27, 2019 at 6:00 pm. |
